Weed Biology and Management (WBM) accepts contributions in the form of original research, review articles, technical reports and short communications in all aspects of weed science, especially from the Asia-Pacific region.

WBM was launched in 2001 by the WSSJ and is published 4 times a year. The Editorial Board of the journal consists of 42 scientists including 17 Japanese, 7 Koreans, 4 Chinese, 4 Americans and the other Asian and Pacific Countries. WBM is published with cooperation and encouragement from many of the national weed science societies affiliated with APWSS.

WSSJ Activities of Aid for Publication of Research Result to Weed Biology and Management is to subsidize the publication of articles on weed science so as to aid a correct evaluation of researchers achievements in weed research in the Asian-Pacific region (Aid is not limited to APWSS members, but does not apply to Japanese members of the WSSJ).

The Editorial Board of WBM should decide whether or not the articles are qualified to obtain the aid.If you have any questions, please ask me by following address. Finally, we always welcome articles of high quality and encourage you to submit your research. With best regards
